The Calypso Kaftan features a voluminous yet figure-flattering silhouette, elevated with refined tapered cuff and slim floor length collar detailing as a touch of tailoring and sophistication. Designed with versatility in mind, it includes an interior tie at the waist that allows it to be worn open for an effortless drape and drama or closed for a demurer look. This floor-length piece transitions seamlessly from day-to-night and pairs beautifully with the matching Bralette and Lounge Lants as a sensual yet sophisticated full ensemble. The Farrah Print, inspired by Farrah Fawcett’s wild beauty, is a unique jungle motif alive with tigers, peacocks, and lush jungle flora. Capturing the free-spirited glamour of the 1970s, Farrah embodies Calypso’s inspiration, a modern twist on St. Tropez in its golden age.

Care
The niLuu vegan silk Kaftan will continue delivering its amazingly soft and silky feel for a long time. They have been developed to be machine washable at home.

We source our materials from Japan with the production of the core element behind our fabrics, Bemberg Yarn. Gentle on our skin and kink to our planet, Bemberg is materializad from cotton linters, a fiber found in cotton seeds that has traditionally been disposed of in the past.
WOVEN WITH CARE
Our natural fibers are woven into our beautiful vegan silk in Turkey at the first vegan-labeled fabric producer in the world to create a luxurious cruelty-free and earth-friendly alternative to silk. Our fabric breathes like cotton, but feels like silk.
FAIR + SAFE ATELIER
The fabric is passed along to our women-led atelier in Serra Serra, Turkey, to be transformed into the ethereal silk-wear pieces that characterize niLuu. Our atelier focuses on providing fair, safe, and advantageous employment opportunities for women.
